Here, I will discuss the best face washes for each skin type. 

1. Oily Skin

Oily skin produces extra oil, especially in the T-zone, which can clog pores and lead to acne. You need a face wash with ingredients like salicylic acid or ceramides to clean oily skin. Other ingredients that matter for oily skin are, 

• Hyaluronic acid for added extra moisturizer  
• Niacinamide to Soothe the Skin 
• Benzoyl peroxide to minimize breakouts.

1. Dry Skin

So, you need to know when and how often you can use your face wash. 

Many of you don’t even know that using face wash daily is necessary, but how often should you use it in a day?

It’s recommended to wash your face twice a day. Here are some helpful tips:

• Before bed: Washing your face at night is a must.
• Avoid Morning: Avoid washing your face right after waking up. Your skin produces sebum overnight, which helps with the aging process. Washing it away can lead to dryness and early signs of aging. 
• After using sunscreen: It’s important to wash your face after wearing sunscreen to remove it properly.

Note: Don’t wash your face twice in a row. Instead, try double cleansing with a gentle cleanser.

How to Use Face Wash

We often overlook the correct face wash method, which can lead to mistakes. While it seems simple, many of us don't know how to use it properly.

Here's the right process for using face wash:

• Cleans Your Hands: Wash your hands with soap before touching your face.
• Wet your face: wet your face with water.
• Apply the face wash: Take a little amount of your face wash and make a foam. You can rub it in your hand or use a cleansing tool like a foaming mesh or dispenser. 
• Massage gently: Now gently massage the foam onto your face for 30 to 60 seconds.
• Rinse: Then rinse off your face thoroughly with water.
• Dry your face: Finally, pat your face dry with a clean towel or tissue. Alternatively, you can let it air dry, which is my personal favorite.
